Modular, narrow linewidth, tunable diode laser
The MDL pro is the rack-integrated version of the DL pro. Based on more than 25 years experience in laser technologies, its unique design allows to provide almost all wavelengths between 369 nm and 1770 nm. Thousands of units have been produced so far, with power up to 400 mW and free running linewidth down to 0.6 kHz.
Its digital controller allows a stable performance, the GUI making the remote access easy. This laser is fully compatible with the extensive TOPTICA portfolio of driving electronics, software and accessories.

An integrated system to save space
The MDL pro combines up to four narrow-linewidth tunable diode lasers in a compact 19” sub-rack, at wavelengths between 369 and 1770 nm. These are based on TOPTICA's DL pro or DFB pro lasers. All laser diodes from TOPTICA stock lists are available.

Lasers at all laser wavelengths between 369 nm and 1770 nm to address most of the relevant optical transitions for quantum applications.
Narrow linewidth
The MDL pro patented mechanical design results in the suitable linewidth for the applications where a low frequency noise is required.

Options
Lock option for DLC pro
Software license that enables a number of features on a specific DLC pro. These allow to control the frequency of a laser for example by using a saturated absorption spectroscopy setup with a reference cell.
Locking and other electronics modules
For DLC pro, the versatile DLC pro LOCK option is available as well as FALC pro and PDH/DLC pro modules. With DLC ext a number of analog locking modules is available.
Narrow linewidth
With this option MDL pro laser systems are optimized for narrow linewidths. It is also suited for seed lasers of TA or NLO systems, but not for MDL pro HP lasers. MDL pro F lasers are always optimized for a narrow linewidth.
19" rack Integration
Made for the TOPTICA T-RACK. Modular integration into 19" industry rack to save space and ensure mobility.
